ALI ALAWIEH
Ali Alawieh joins Showtime with a reputation as one of the brightest stars in the Arabic TV World. Ali cemented his position as one of the stars of television sports when he anchored much of coverage of the 2006 World Cup from Germany. Prior to that he had presented hundreds of hours of coverage of the Premier League and various leading Arabic Leagues
Ali started his career with New TV in Lebanon before moving to Future TV. Amongst his credits there were the 1998 World Cup and the Pan Arab games.
His ‘Kick Off’ programme on Future TV was selected as the best sports show in the Arab world for 3 consecutive years.
Every week, Ali Alawiyah will be joined by Abdul Rahman Mohammed, one of the best Arab analysts. He also captained the UAE National Team in the 1990 World Cup.
